Call forwarding on Other mobile carriers

Bell, TELUS, Fido, Koodo, Freedom, Cricket, Metro, Mint, Visible and others: most use the standard codes below.

Your receptionist number

Replace XXXXXXXXXX below with your receptionist's 10-digit number from your account, with no spaces or dashes.

Turn it on

  1. 1

Dial this code and press Call, for calls you don't answer:

    **61*1XXXXXXXXXX#
  2. 2

Dial this code for when your phone is off or has no signal:

    **62*1XXXXXXXXXX#
  3. 3

Dial this code for when you're already on a call:

    **67*1XXXXXXXXXX#
  4. 4

If your carrier runs on Verizon's network (Visible, for example) and these codes are rejected, try Verizon's code instead:

    *71XXXXXXXXXX

On an iPhone

The Call Forwarding switch in iPhone Settings forwards every call, so your iPhone would never ring. Don't use it for your receptionist. Instead, open the Phone app's keypad and dial your carrier's codes from its guide. They work on any iPhone.

On Android

The codes above work on any Android phone. Google Pixel and most others: Phone app, three-dot menu, Settings, Calls (or Calling accounts, then your carrier), Call forwarding. Turn on When busy, When unanswered and When unreachable, each with your receptionist number. Samsung Galaxy: Phone app, three-dot menu, Settings, Supplementary services, Call forwarding, Voice call.

Test it

From a different phone, call your business number and don't answer. After a few rings your receptionist picks up, and the call shows in your account within a minute.

Turn it off

  • Turn off all conditional forwarding on most carriers:

    ##004#
  • On Verizon-network carriers:

    *73

Good to know

  • These are the standard codes most carriers use, not one carrier's own instructions. If they're rejected, call your carrier and ask to turn on "conditional call forwarding" (when busy, unanswered and unreachable) to your receptionist number.
  • If your carrier gives you a different code, use theirs.

Common method; your provider's own instructions win if they differ. Based on T-Mobile short codes (the standard format), checked October 25, 2026. Carriers change things: if a step doesn't match what you see, email support@callmillie.com.
