Questions owners ask
Do I have to change my business number?
No. You keep your number and set your phone to forward calls you don't answer. Your phone still rings first. The AI only picks up when you're busy, on a job, or closed.
Will callers know it's an AI?
Yes. It says so at the start of every call, and tells callers the call is recorded. Some US states require this, and callers trust a receptionist that's upfront.
What does it know about my business?
During setup we read your website and fill in your services, area, hours and fees. You check everything and edit anything before it takes a call.
What if it doesn't know the answer?
It says you'll call back, and passes the question on to you with the caller's details. It doesn't guess.
How long does setup take?
About 10 minutes: check your business details, pick a voice, make a test call, then turn on call forwarding.
Can it book jobs into my calendar?
At launch it takes the caller's preferred time and you confirm it. Booking straight into Google Calendar is coming next.
